Welcome to St. Peter Lutheran Church!

A Letter From Our Church

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here, visiting our website. Here are a few things we’d like to share about our congregation:

  • We have been serving the spiritual needs of our community since 1977.
  • Our focus is on Jesus and our certainty of eternal life because of what he has done for us.
  • Our worship incorporates a variety of styles and we value a shared family experience.
  • We offer a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages to connect with each other, build friendships, and use their gifts to serve God and the people of our congregation and community.

We’re excited about the opportunity to serve you and your family! Come visit our pastor, or join us for one of our worship services, every Sunday at 10 am. We would love to show you around our campus and share more about how we can serve your needs.

Belief & Mission Statements

St. Peter is a Confessional Lutheran Church which means we subscribe to the historic Confessions of the Lutheran Church as recorded in the Book of Concord.

We are a theologically conservative church which believes that the Bible is God’s unchanging, inspired Word that He revealed to us so that we may believe in Jesus Christ our crucified and risen Savior.

We at St. Peter love to hear and study God’s Word. Our emphasis is on what Jesus has done to rescue this world from sin. The pastor who serves our congregation has been thoroughly trained in the original languages of the Bible (Hebrew and Greek) so that he can confidently teach people the truths of God’s Word.

A great way to start growing in your faith and understanding is by enrolling in our Christianity 101 Bible class. Email pastorjmckenzie@gmail.com for more information.

Our Partner Churches

St. Peter Lutheran is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), a national organization of Lutheran congregations. We have sister congregations in almost every state and mission churches around the world. To learn more, you can visit the WELS website where there are helpful articles about what WELS Lutherans believe.

Our Mission

As people saved by God’s undeserved love, we want to share the Word of forgiveness and tell of Jesus Christ. Remembering Jesus’ love, we seek to strengthen and serve each other and our neighbors daily, acting through faith in our Lord Jesus, as guided by the Holy Spirit.
